The Aniimo Global Closed Beta — the third closed test of Pawprint Studio’s creature-catching open-world RPG, and the last major playtest before launch — ran from July 9 to July 25, 2026 (UTC+8) on PC, Steam, iOS, and Android. Announced on June 8, 2026 in the same breath as Aniimo’s Q3 2026 launch window, it was also the game’s biggest test ever: a new region, four new Aniimo, a PvP mode, two bosses, and the first player-to-player Aniimo exchange.
If you searched “aniimo beta 3” or “aniimo closed beta 3” hoping for a way in, the honest answer is that the test has ended. This page is the full recap: exact dates, how recruitment worked, everything the beta added, and what happens between now and the September 16, 2026 launch.

Recruitment ran for roughly four weeks. Because this was a limited-access test, applying did not guarantee entry — selected Pathfinders were notified via the email address used in their application, and everyone else could check their status on the official site’s “Check Beta Access” tool. No keys were sold and none could be, which is worth repeating: every third-party “Aniimo beta code” offer was a scam. Our beta sign-up guide covers the general playbook for any future test window.
Everything New in the Global Closed Beta
The beta was Aniimo’s largest content drop before launch. Here is the full list from the official announcement, with our coverage pages where they exist:
| Category | What was added | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| New Aniimo | Mophling, Sausite, Bubbeep, Popapus | Mophling, Sausite, Bubbeep, Popapus |
| New Aniimo forms | Budsquire, Thornblade, and more (press coverage also spotted Prismana forms of Panpanta and Dreaple) | Forms guide |
| New region | Island of Peace — a water-themed region open for the first time | Island of Peace guide |
| PvP | Diamond Egg Heist — up to six teams of three compete to twine with the diamond egg, then escort it to safety | Egg Heist guide |
| Boss challenges | Bubbask and Coraliz — team-up boss fights | Bubbask, Coraliz |
| Aniimo exchange | Pathfinders can exchange Aniimo with each other — Aniimo’s first player-to-player creature exchange | Exchange guide |
| Astra features | Accessory stores, blind box and clothing store buildings, Nimbi delivery service and a pet park (per press coverage) | — |
| Homeland building | More customization and Aniimo-themed decorations via the RV moving base | Base building guide |
Two notes on names. Some press previews referred to the new water zone as “Crescent Bay” while the official announcement calls the region the Island of Peace — we treat Island of Peace as the official name. Likewise, the official spelling of the new creature is Sausite, though a few outlets wrote “Saucite.”
Because the official Aniimo Index still lists 94 creatures and does not yet include Mophling, Sausite, or Bubbask, their elements, skills, and stats remain TBA — the pages linked above track exactly what is and isn’t confirmed. The beta also let players test Prismana variants and the Inherit system at a larger scale than the January test.
What the Global Closed Beta Means for Launch
The beta answered several open questions about the September 16, 2026 launch build. Cross-platform play between PC and mobile was exercised at scale for the first time, the exchange system confirmed that some form of player-to-player creature trading will exist in Aniimo, and the Island of Peace expanded the map beyond everything shown in earlier tests.
What it did not do is unlock anything permanent. The test was explicitly non-charging (no real-money purchases) and data-wiping — beta accounts, captures, and exchange history are all gone. If you missed the test, nothing about your launch experience is diminished; if you played it, treat everything you saw as subject to change.
FunPlus then brought Aniimo to Gamescom 2026 in early August, keeping the reveal cadence going straight into launch. For the current state of the full 94-creature roster, see the creatures list and the tier list; for launch-day gift codes, watch our Aniimo codes page.
Frequently Asked Questions
When was the Aniimo Global Closed Beta?
The Aniimo Global Closed Beta ran from July 9 to July 25, 2026 (UTC+8), with pre-download opening on July 8. It was Aniimo’s third closed beta overall — the community often calls it Aniimo Beta 3 or the closed beta 3 test.
Was the Global Closed Beta the same as Aniimo Beta 3?
Yes. Aniimo’s test history is the first closed beta, the Second Closed Beta in January 2026, and then the Global Closed Beta in July 2026. The official name is Global Closed Beta Test; “Beta 3” is the community shorthand for it.
Can I still play the Aniimo Global Closed Beta?
No. The test officially ended on July 25, 2026 and the beta servers were closed. It was a limited-access, non-charging, data-wipe beta, so no progress survives. The next fixed milestone is the September 16, 2026 launch on PC and consoles.
How did Global Closed Beta recruitment work?
Sign-ups ran from June 7, 2026 at 10:00 to July 5 at 23:59 (UTC+8) on aniimo.com. Selected players were notified via the email used in their application, and everyone else could check their eligibility on the official site’s beta access checker. No third-party site could grant access.
What platforms was the Global Closed Beta on?
PC (via the official site download and Steam), iOS, and Android. Console players were not part of this test — PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions are confirmed for the September 16, 2026 launch but had no beta phase.
What new content did the Global Closed Beta add?
New Aniimo Mophling, Sausite, Bubbeep, and Popapus; new forms including Budsquire and Thornblade; the Island of Peace water region; Diamond Egg Heist PvP; Bubbask and Coraliz boss challenges; the player-to-player Aniimo exchange; plus Astra stores and expanded Homeland building.
Did Global Closed Beta progress carry over?
No. The official download guide labeled it a data-wipe beta, and the end notice confirmed server closure on July 25, 2026. Captures, levels, items, and exchange history from the beta do not transfer to the launch build.
Will there be another Aniimo beta (Beta 4 or an open beta) before launch?
None has been announced. With the launch confirmed for September 16, 2026 on PC and consoles (mobile on September 23), any further test would be confirmed first on the official Aniimo channels — treat “Beta 4” or open beta claims from other sites as rumors.
How were Aniimo beta codes distributed for the Global Closed Beta?
Access was free and handled entirely through the official application on aniimo.com — winners were notified by email and could verify status on the official site. There were no purchasable or third-party beta codes, and any “Aniimo beta code” seller was a scam.
