The Island of Peace is the new water-themed region of Idyll, opened for the first time during Aniimo’s Global Closed Beta (July 9–25, 2026). It was one of the headline reveals of the official June 8, 2026 announcement — the biggest map expansion shown before launch, arriving in the same test as new creatures Mophling and Sausite, the bosses Bubbask and Coraliz, and the Diamond Egg Heist PvP mode.
If you’re hunting for details — creatures, points of interest, how to get there — most of that is still TBA, and this guide keeps the line between confirmed and guessed visible. Here’s everything official so far.
Aniimo Wiki is a fan-made community site, not affiliated with Pawprint Studio or FunPlus. All beta-era details are subject to change before launch.
Last updated: August 20, 2026 Note: Aniimo’s closed beta tests have concluded ahead of the confirmed September 16, 2026 PC and console launch (mobile follows September 23).

The Crescent Bay Naming Question
If you’ve seen “Crescent Bay” in Aniimo coverage, you’re not imagining it. Press previews of the Global Closed Beta described players exploring “Crescent Bay, a new water-themed region” — while the official FunPlus announcement names the new water region the Island of Peace.
No official Aniimo channel or the official wiki has used “Crescent Bay” in any material we’ve tracked. The likeliest explanations: Crescent Bay is either a press-only name for the same zone, or a sub-area within the Island of Peace. Until something official disambiguates, we use Island of Peace — the name from the official announcement — and treat Crescent Bay as an alias worth knowing about when you see it elsewhere.
Why the Island of Peace Matters
Two reasons this region matters more than a routine map add-on:
- It’s the first water-themed zone. Aniimo’s pre-beta showings centered on grassland and forest biomes around Astra. A dedicated water region opens design space — swimming and diving traversal, water-element creatures, aquatic bosses — that the game hadn’t touched publicly before.
- It anchors the launch-era content drop. The beta that introduced it also added the exchange system, new bosses, and new creatures. Whatever shape the September 16, 2026 launch build takes, the Island of Peace is the strongest signal of what post-early-game Aniimo looks like: bigger, more varied, and built around co-op.
What we refuse to do is publish a creature list or boss guide for an island whose official data doesn’t exist yet. The creatures list covers all 94 confirmed Index entries; the moment the island’s roster is official, it joins them.
What We Expect (Labeled Speculation)
To be clear about labels: nothing in this section is confirmed.
- A launch return. Regions built for a summer beta generally ship in the launch build two months later. Expected — not confirmed.
- New water-adjacent content. Water theming invites water-element Aniimo and aquatic bosses; the community naturally links the island to the beta’s new creatures. Plausible, unconfirmed.
- Full documentation fast. Once the game goes live, this page converts from “what’s confirmed so far” into a real region guide — map, points of interest, spawns, and routes — as data verifies.
For the systems the beta ran on the island and elsewhere, see the exploration guide, Twine system, and the full Global Closed Beta recap.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Island of Peace in Aniimo?
The Island of Peace is a new water-themed region in Aniimo, officially named in the FunPlus announcement of June 8, 2026 as a zone that would be accessible for the first time during the Global Closed Beta (July 9-25, 2026).
Is the Island of Peace the same place as Crescent Bay?
Probably, but the naming is messy. The official FunPlus announcement calls the new water region the Island of Peace; some press previews of the beta referred to the new water zone as “Crescent Bay”. No official source has used “Crescent Bay”, so treat Island of Peace as the official name.
Can I visit the Island of Peace now?
No. The region was opened in the Global Closed Beta, which ended on July 25, 2026 when the servers closed. It is widely expected to be part of the launch build on September 16, 2026, but that is an expectation, not an official confirmation.
Which Aniimo live on the Island of Peace?
TBA. The announcement did not say which creatures inhabit the region. With water theming, the new beta creatures Mophling, Sausite, and Bubbeep are candidates fans discuss — but no official source links any specific Aniimo to the island yet.
Where is the Island of Peace on the map?
TBA. Official materials have not published a world map position for the island. Idyll’s full geography, including how the island connects to previously shown regions, should become clear at the September 16, 2026 launch.
